Core terms
- Asset: an equipment or system record that work history, PMs, documents, and intelligence attach to.
- Facility: a site or location that contains assets, work, and reporting scope.

Intelligence terms
- Confidence: how much evidence supports a recommendation; not the same as severity.
- Exposure: the operational or financial significance of a risk signal.
- Scenario: a model comparing paths such as defer, inspect, repair, or replace.
- Dependency depth: how far an issue may propagate through connected assets.
- Digital twin: a spatial surface for understanding asset location visually.
- Intelligence layer: analytics, predictive signals, scenarios, and reporting beyond workflow.
How to use it
Apply the glossary for shared definitions; consistency matters so two teams do not mean different workflows by the same word. Intelligence outputs are decision support: inspect underlying records before acting.
