Command palette and search
Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) to open the assistant. Type a command instead of a question and it becomes a navigation palette, such as go to assets, create work order, show overdue PMs, or settings billing.
Press / anywhere to focus global search. Type an asset name, a work order number (WO-4421 or just 4421), a user name, or free text across asset notes and work order titles. Results group by type, and the top result opens with Enter.
Keyboard chords
Tap g then a letter to jump: g d Dashboard, g w Work orders, g a Assets, g p Parts, g v Vendors, g l Alerts, g s Settings, g i Inbox.
In lists, use j and k for next and previous row, Enter to open, Esc to go back, and f to focus filters. In a work order: c comment, a assign, s status, m mentions. In an asset: w new work order, p view PMs, h history.
Tips
Learn Cmd+K and j/k first; they unlock most of the speed-up. Press ? anywhere to see all shortcuts for the current context. Rebind defaults under Settings, Profile, Keyboard shortcuts.
