Alerts and Inbox: How Rivolq Reaches You

Alerts is your equipment-monitoring stream and Inbox is for organizational notifications; tune settings and use the daily digest to cut noise.

Updated June 5, 2026

Alerts versus Inbox

Rivolq has two notification surfaces. Alerts (app.rivolq.com/alerts) is your equipment-monitoring stream, fed by threshold breaches, pattern anomalies, failure events, and predictive flags. Each alert carries asset, facility, zone, priority (critical, high, medium, low), category, status (new, acknowledged, in-progress, snoozed, resolved), and any linked work orders. Triage alerts: acknowledge what you see, work what needs work, snooze noisy ones with a reason.

Inbox (app.rivolq.com/inbox) is everything else: mentions and assignments, approvals, system messages, team updates, and product news. Splitting the two keeps equipment alarms from being drowned by team chatter.

Notification settings and digest

Under Settings, Notifications, control delivery by channel: in-app (always on), email (per category, with a digest option), SMS (critical alerts, where enabled), and push (mobile only). The daily digest summarizes open work orders, PMs due today, overnight alerts, and new inbox items, arriving 7am local by default.

Tips

  • Acknowledge alerts even if you cannot act on them.
  • Do not let alert priority inflate; if everything is critical, priority means nothing.
  • Create work orders from alerts; they are signals, not work.
