Admin Settings Overview
A tour of every Settings tab in Rivolq so you can find profile, team, roles, billing, security, and data controls quickly.
Updated September 15, 2026
This is a tour of the Settings tabs and what lives where.
Account and organization
- Profile: name, email, profile photo, time zone, notification preferences, MFA enrollment, password change, and the Restart product tour button.
- Organization: org name, logo, default time zone, and locale. The logo appears on exported reports and PDFs.
- Facilities: physical sites, with per-facility defaults for working hours, time zone, and currency.
- Team: invite, deactivate, or change roles, and manage SSO group-to-role mappings.
- Roles: the standard roles are Admin, Supervisor / Planner, Technician, Inventory Manager, Viewer, Requester, and Contractor. Create a custom role only for a clear access pattern that does not fit.
- Billing: plan, technicians, usage, invoices, and payment method. Plan changes are non-destructive, but they can change limits and feature access.
Workflows and reporting
- Notifications: per-user controls plus org-wide defaults for mentions and assignments (real time), digests (daily morning summary), and system alerts (security, billing).
- Reports: schedule recurring report emails and configure the header, cover page, and distribution list.
- Templates: reusable starting points for work orders and PMs, the simplest way to enforce data quality at scale. See Templates.
- AI provider: the default is the Rivolq-managed pool; customers with their own API key can plug in directly. This affects cost attribution, not behavior.
- Integrations: native connectors for ERPs, accounting, IoT platforms, and ticketing systems.
Security and data
- OAuth apps: third-party integrations and API keys. Generate scoped tokens, revoke them when staff leave, and watch usage.
- Audit log: every consequential action, time-stamped and attributed, searchable and exportable.
- Security: MFA enforcement, session timeout, IP allowlists, SAML-based SSO, and domain verification, which locks signup to your email domain.
- Data and privacy: GDPR and CCPA tools for export, deletion, and retention; daily automated backups, with enterprise retention handled by contract; and storage controls such as recycle-bin windows and attachment retention. See Recycle bin and undo.
What lives elsewhere
Per-facility configuration (zones, working hours, currency) is on the facility detail page. Per-asset PM defaults live on the asset's PM tab. Per-user shortcuts are in the keyboard-shortcut overlay, opened with the question mark key.
