Recycle Bin and Undo
Deletes in Rivolq are reversible for 30 days through the recycle bin, which lets you restore records or purge them permanently.

What the recycle bin holds
Deletes are reversible for 30 days. The recycle bin captures work orders, PMs, assets, parts, vendors, templates, reports, custom roles, and imported records that failed validation. It does not hold audit log entries (immutable), user accounts (deactivate or erase instead), or comments (history preserved separately).
Restoring records
Go to Settings, Data privacy, Recycle bin to see everything deleted in the last 30 days, filtered by type, who deleted it, or date. Each item offers Restore (preserving original ID and links), View, or Permanently delete. Restored records keep all relationships, comments, attachments, and history. For a bad bulk delete, filter to the time range, select all, and restore selected.
Limits and permanent deletion
Restore fails if the parent facility or asset was hard-deleted, the 30-day window expired, or the record was created and deleted within the same purge window. Permanent deletion before 30 days applies to GDPR or CCPA erasure requests and test-data cleanup; both require admin access and write audit log entries. Don't treat the recycle bin as a backup, and check it first when something seems missing.
