Invite Your Team

Learn how to invite teammates, choose the right role, and offboard people while preserving their work history

Rivolq works best when your whole maintenance team is in it. Inviting people is fast, but choosing the right role takes a moment.

Who can invite

You need the admin role to invite users. Technicians and viewers cannot. If the Team menu is not visible, ask an admin to grant access or invite on your behalf.

How to invite

  1. 01Open Team from the sidebar, or Settings then Team.
  2. 02Click Invite member.
  3. 03Enter the email, choose a role, and optionally add a welcome note.
  4. 04Send. The recipient gets a one-click signup link valid for seven days.

You can resend or revoke an invitation from the same page.

Roles

  • Admin: full access including billing, settings, and users. Reserve for managers and ops leads; keep this list small.
  • Engineer: the workhorse role. Create and complete work orders, edit assets, run PMs, scan, and view analytics. Right for technicians, planners, and supervisors.
  • Viewer: read-only, for executives, finance, or external stakeholders.

Create custom roles under Settings then Roles for finer access.

Removing people

Deactivate rather than delete when someone leaves. Deactivation revokes their session immediately and preserves their work orders, comments, and audit entries. Use Settings then Team then Deactivate.
