Reaching an asset
There are three ways to open an asset:
- Scan its QR code (fastest in the field)
- Press / anywhere and type the name; partial matches surface as you type
- Open Assets and filter by facility, zone, or type
The detail tabs
- Overview: status, criticality, location, recent activity
- History: every work order, PM, and inspection, sortable by date, type, and assignee; watch for recurring failures
- Documents: manuals, drawings, warranty, photos; ask the AI questions against uploaded manuals
- Parts: compatible parts, stock levels, one-tap order
- PMs: active schedules, last run, next due
- Components: parent or child links
- Comments: free-form notes and tribal knowledge
Tips
- Read the last three to five work orders before starting.
- Check the Parts tab for stock before heading out.
- Note criticality to right-size the fix.
The AI assistant has full asset context and cites every claim. Avoid diving in without reading history or ignoring parent, child, and comment context.
